Liw Bringelson, PhD CST

Liw (short for "Liwana") has been an advocate (and client) of Craniosacral Therapy for over 12 years, and a pratitioner since 2008.  Her educational background includes studies in human factors, ergonomics, social psychology and engineering.  For over the last 20 years she has been interested in how people can use systems safely, efficiently and effectively.  Finding Quiet continues these objectives, integrating the engineering problem-solving approach with an intuitive, listening approach to observing and working with your body for healing.

Dr. Bringelson earned a PhD from Purdue University in Industrial Engineering and cognitive human factors in 1991 and subsequently worked as a university faculty member in US and Canada.  In December 2012, Liw successfully completed her CST-techniques certification through the Upledger Institute.

Her practice is based out of her home in Collingwood, Ontario, although she can travel to provide personalized treatments in other locations.

She continues to study and look for new information which will help her work with her clients, for effective treatment and healing.  Recent topics include:

  •  Theraputic Touch (Levels I (Feb 2008), 2 (Sept 2008), and 3 (March 2010)
